Crown Imperial | The Bands of HM Royal Marines

the ever rousing Crown Imperial from the Mountbatten Festival of Music 2012 at the Royal Albert Hall, London. Written by the famed English composer William Walton originally for the Coronation of Edward VIII, it was first performed at the Coronation of his brother, King George VI in 1937, following Edwards abdication. Subsequently, it has been performed at the Coronation of Queen Elizabeth II in 1953 and at the wedding of Prince William to Catherine Middleton in 2011.
