Spring 2024 start up of my 1980s Galaxy 16" reversible window fan.The motor is a psc with a capacitor and sleeve bearings, everything is in good working order including the switch. The fan cleaned up ok though I wasn't able to get the motor completely disassembled but still had access to lubricating the front and back bearings using my 3 in one SAE oil. The fan was used in the window for the first time this morning, the performance is satisfactory. This will probably be in use throughout different times of the year such as Spring and Fall weather. Indeed a very nice window fan . Enjoy!
