Nero in Daniel’s Prophecy

Ancient historians confirm that supernatural signs marked Nero’s rule, echoing prophecy:

Solar eclipses — fulfillment of “The sun shall be turned into darkness” (Joel 2:31; Acts 2:20).

Elephants refusing to march — heaven and earth resisting the Beast.

Voices crying, “Let us depart hence” — God’s presence departing (Ezek. 10:18).

Signs over Egypt — echo of Isa. 19’s burden upon Egypt.

Agrippina’s ghost (Tacitus, Dio) — Nero haunted by the Furies, fulfilling judgment motifs.

Earthquakes and fires — aligning with Revelation’s trumpet judgments (Rev. 8:5).

Nero’s reign is thus framed by prophecy and portents: a cosmic witness to his role as Beast.

The “Dark Ages” were not an age of ignorance but of censorship. From 70–1070 AD, Christ reigned; after 1070, Satan’s deception took hold.

Darkness here means suppression: the true Kingdom was overwritten with false history.
