Why the Engines Stopped on the Viking Sky. Norwegian Officials found that in the rough seas the Viking Sky's engines shut down from a lack of oil. Even though there was plenty of oil in the tanks the rough seas caused a sensor to think there was none and it shut off the engines to stop any damage to the chips engines. #vikingsky #cruiseship #norway
