Peace Engineering is the nation's first program dedicated to preventing and reducing violent conflict through education and research, integrating innovative technologies, approaches, and policies with the studies and practices of peacebuilders. The Peace Engineering graduate program is designed specifically for engineers, and focuses on the practical use of science to aid in global non-violent conflict resolution. Students will engage in coursework both inside of the classroom and through a 3-month experiential learning internship. This new program was created in collaboration with the PeaceTech Lab, an NGO headquartered in Washington, D.C.
