Veena Vadini, originally penned by the famous poet Shri Suryakant Tripathi Nirala, has been put to tune and composed by RaviIyer's mother Smt. Saraswathi Iyer. The concept and music has been designed by Ravi Iyer. Since the poem speaks about asking Goddess Saraswathi for a boon to make India / World a better place and to be blessed with new sounds, modernisation and a lot of innovations always, Ravi Iyer and his team of performers have also included children who have impaired hearing & speech to actually convey this blessed message .Hence it also proves that universally the power of music and the enrichingly positive message behind this poem, even make the speechless to speak.

O Goddess! The one who plays the Veena!
Bestow your boon on us all!
Fill our new Bharath (India) with sweet songs of freedom!
And chants as sweet as nectar!
Free our hearts from the fetters of darkness!

O Mother Divine! Let the river of light dispel the darkness of dirt and differences and fill the entire world with brightness!
Bless the birds (people) of the new country,
With new skies, new tempos, new metres, new melodies, new voices and new songs!

Let every musical note be followed by a new one!
