Recently I've been trying Alpha Minecraft and picked a seed I liked this version is very different from what people are used to it is a lot simpler, but there is some bugs and other things that make Alpha unique. For example Alpha has less durability on tools this means resources are very scarce and valuable you will have to work twice as hard for everything which is why I don't use any iron tools in this video. Alpha also has different ore generation for some reason most of the diamonds generate only in the positive coordinates and since Alpha doesn't have coordinates you have to just guess, or use a diagram by using the direction of where the sunsets and rises and spawn you can find what axis you are on. There is also a 1/4th chance of a world being a snow world, since Alpha didn't have biomes. However, because of all the ice it makes it extremely difficult to find sugar cane, because the ice will break the sugar cane and despawn if you don't get it in time. Sometimes you will find an area that generated in a way that water can flow and sugar cane just so happens to generate there as well but this is very rare. The only reason I want a snow world is because I love the snow and you don't get snow if you don't play on a snow world. It is a small sacrifice to make but I think it's worth it.
