Road trip on the Outbound Bishop Ford Freeway and Calumet Expressway through Chicago's far south side through Chicago's south suburbs and eventually ending in Beecher on the far east side of Will County, IL. We start on Chicago's far south side and pass along some woods and Chicago's historic Pullman neighborhood along with Lake Calumet and the Illinois International Port (just before 130th Street). You can tell the area was once heavily industrialized but since the 1960's and 1970's many of those either closed or moved. The neighborhood has since changed dramatically with more forest than there was then and Lake Calumet is much cleaner as well. We then leave the City and cross The Steel Bridge into Dolton, IL where we see more woods. This continues through South Holland, IL before we reach the Calumet Interchange (where the Bishop Ford, Calumet, Tri-State Tollway, and Kingery Expressways come together). We enter denser woods after passing through the massive Calumet Interchange as we enter Lansing and then Glenwood. At this point (Glenwood) the land starts to open up more and it starts to become less and less urban all the way to Beecher when you have practically left the Chicago area. Just like I-57, you see the whole transition from urban to rural throughout this stretch of road.

This was filmed as sunset was approaching so towards the end the sky starts turn less blue. The inbound version of this video you see a lot more of a sunset.
