Vauxhall CD400 radio LOCKED How to UNLOCK Eeprom VIN Change

in this week video we have a Vauxhall CD400 radio locked.

One of my friend bought a car from an auction and when he picked up the car it had quite few things missing like the parcel shelve etc plus the cd400 radio, I'm maybe wrong but i believe one of the reason why the radio was removed it was because it had hands free built in..

Another used CD400 radio unit was purchased online but when he installed it, the radio didn't work and he had a message on the center display saying LOCKED, I wasn't sure at the time but after some research it was clear to me that the CD400 is married to the car by the VIN Number and not the usual passcode, so when the car tried to match the VIN and it didn't, it locked the radio function..

I went ahead and tried to modify the VIN with the Autel MaxiCOM MK908P and i couldn't comunicate with the radio module so it was a fail there, then my only option with the tools that i have was to try to find the Eeprom chip with the VIN information and change it with carprog.

Unfortunately my carprog couldn't read the 4S128 or 24C128 Eeprom so i needed a help from a good friend of mine Luis from @LM Auto Repairs . I posted on the channel community tab win or fail i would be publishing this video so DID WE GET IT FIXED ????
