A Talk with Leica - Leica SL and Lenses in Photokina 2016

We had a chance to interview Stefan Daniel and Steffen Skopp from Leica during Photokina 2016.

We talked about the Leica SL introduced last year and how important it is to Leica as well as some of the less known features of the camera (which we also have a chance to play with a little bit).

Skopp talked about the new 50mm f/1.4 lens and about the new line of lenses that Leica will introduce for the SL in the next year or so (he claims that they will be sharper than anything Leica - and maybe anybody else, has at the moment).

We also asked Stefan Daniel about how Leica has been doing in the past few years with the big decline of the photo industry and according to him the company was unaffected (or at least was able to compensate with the release of new products like the SL).
