It is better to marry than to burn

It is better to marry than to burn with passion. Is sexual desire a good thing? What about celibacy? Is it possible to glorify God in my sexual expression? I answer these question in this clip by looking at 1 Corinthians 7:1-9. There are two important observations that help us understand God's attitude towards human sexual desire as well as how we ought to manage our sexual desires in a way that honours God.

One of the ways in which a single Christian can honour God is by keeping themselves sexually pure. Celibacy. It is important for single people to be patient and wait on the Lord in their singleness. But if they are unable to control themselves, it is better to marry than burn with passion.
