Scared, unsure, and navigating a post-apocalyptic world, the two travel together with each other as their only support system. The Ice King's crown tied to Simon's belt is both their saving grace and greatest enemy as Simon uses it to give him the power to protect Marcy, but suffers under its control as he slowly loses his mind.
