What Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth does BETTER than Final Fantasy 16

After 40 hours of exploring every inch of Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, I've noticed some stark contrasts between how it and Final Fantasy XVI handle their respective worlds and characters. While both games take divergent paths, Final Fantasy VII Rebirth masterfully maintains a balance between light-hearted moments and serious storytelling, a balance I find lacking in Final Fantasy XVI's grimdark approach.
