Manual start up of a 049 Cox Babe Bee (0,8cc) model airplane glow engine. This model is also powering my Kyosho RC car. The sound, which is deafening, on the video is tampered by using a noise damper on the camera.
The engine gets its fuel through a fuel inlet in the fueltank, the air goes through a hole in the backplate. Fuel/air mixture intake to the crankcase is controlled via a reed valve.
