This video will show you how to insert an automatic daily changing date to your Excel sheet.

Welcome to the Braintek video tutorials. My name is Greg, owner of Braintek. Today, we’re going to show you how to add an automatic changing date within an Excel document.

I’ve got an Excel sheet up here and I’m just clicking around here. Let’s say that here in this cell, C3, I would like to add an automatic changing daily date.

We’re going to click in there and type in “=today().” You’ll notice that it automatically fills in the date for me. Let’s go ahead and save this document to the desktop.

There it is. We’re going to close it out. We’re going to change the date on the computer to something else.

So now the date is the 21st and when I open it up, it changes to the 21st.
