ウィリーネルソンに初チャレンジー！🙌😂

この曲、昔から大好きだったんですが、ずっとウィリーがオリジナルだと思ってた‥
そしてエルビスプレスリーがそのカバーなんだと思ってました💦

実際は、最初にレコーディングをしたのがなんと今話題のブレンダ・リー🎤🎄
最初にリリースしたのはグウェン・マクレーと、どちらも女性シンガーであったことに驚き😳

両アーティスト＆エルビスも、共にリリースは１９７２年
ウィリーネルソンがリリースしたのが８２年なので、１０年も経ってからのカバーだったんですね〜

ウィリー・ネルソンのヴァージョンは全米ビルボード・ホットカントリー・シングルチャートで1位、同HOT100で最高5位を獲得し、第25回グラミー賞では最優秀楽曲賞、最優秀カントリーソング賞、最優秀男性カントリーヴォーカル・パフォーマンス賞の3冠を達成！

そして今年の４月になんと９０歳の誕生日を迎えたウィリー!!🎂
それを祝してエリック・クラプトンとブラッドリー・ウォーカーが、今回の「Always On My Mind」を新曲として発表したんです！

ウィリー本人も、９０歳でまだまだ現役🎸🎤

It was surprising to find out that this song was first recorded by Brenda Lee and first released by Gwen McCrae in 1972.

The song has been a crossover hit, charting in both the country and western and pop categories.
Elvis Presley's recording was the first commercially successful version of the song.
Willie Nelson recorded and released the song in early 1982.
It raced to number one on Billboard's Hot Country Singles chart that May, spending two weeks on top and a total of 21 weeks on the chart!
