Meet the filmmakers:
- Giovana Roskosz Reis is a Brazilian filmmaker currently pursuing an MA in Film and Media Production at American University in Washington, DC. With a deep passion for nature and the use of film as an educational tool, she focuses on producing short narratives and documentaries. Giovana is passionate about post-production but is investing in her growing love for cameras since working as a production assistant for the Monterey Bay Aquarium's Film & Video team. Outside of work, she likes to bake, watch foreign films, and take pictures at the beach. Birds are her favorite subject to photograph.

- Brynne Rardin is an underwater filmmaker, divemaster, and certified drone pilot, who is currently a Master in Fine Arts (MFA) candidate in Environmental Filmmaking at American University in Washington D.C. She is also the owner and designer of OFAUNA, a sustainable and inclusive rashguard brand, working to educate people on a global scale about the immense need for ocean and marine life protection.​
