This is a very unscientific shootout of two great dynamic microphones, the Heil PR40 and the Shure SM7B. For this test we are using the preamps built into a Allen & Heath ZED14 and processing the sound with a Dbx 166XL Compressor / Gate and an Aphex 204 for a little more of the radio announcer sound.
