There is a sacred rhythm beneath the noise of this world.
It’s not new.
It’s not trending.
It’s eternal passed from master to student in silence and devotion.
That rhythm is Kriya Yoga.
Kriya isn’t something we stumbled upon.
It’s something we remembered, like a forgotten melody coming back in meditation.
We’ve practised it for years. Quietly. Daily.
And if there is one thing just one we would tell you to learn,
to commit to, to take seriously…
It’s this.
So, what is it? Where did it come from?
Kriya Yoga was first openly introduced to the West by Paramahansa Yogananda in Autobiography of a Yogi, a book that is not just to be read but to be experienced.
Before that, it was preserved in the Himalayas, passed through unbroken lineages from Mahavatar Babaji to Lahiri Mahasaya, then to Sri Yukteswar, and finally to Yogananda who gave it freely to the world, out of love.
Why?
Because humanity is ready.
Because you are ready.
Because this world needs more people anchored in light, breath, and silence not just for themselves but for all of us.
What is Kriya Yoga?
It’s a precise, scientific method to still breathe, slow the heart, and quiet the mind.
By working directly with the life force in the spine, the sushumna it guides you inward past thoughts, emotions, even identity… until only truth remains.
It isn’t flashy.
It’s not performative.
It doesn’t need music or mats or movements.
Just breath. Devotion. Consistency.
It’s the fast track to self-realisation, but only if you walk it with humility and heart.
How is it different from Kundalini Yoga?
Kundalini Yoga, as taught by Yogi Bhajan, is a beautiful, energetic practice of postures, breathwork, chanting, and movement awakening energy and guiding it upward
It’s a fiery path powerful, expressive, and deeply transformative.
Kriya, in contrast, is silent. Surgical. Subtle.
Like a needle threading spirit through the spine.
Both are magnificent.
Both awaken the dormant power in you.
One moves through action and outward expression.
The other, through inward stillness.
What power does this unlock?
Inner peace.
Divine connection.
Fearlessness.
Wisdom that doesn’t come from books.
Breath mastery.
A radiant stillness that doesn’t leave when life gets loud.
Practised before meditation, Kriya is a key unlocking the door to states of consciousness that are otherwise fleeting.
It doesn’t take decades.
It takes dedication.
And once that door opens, you never walk alone again.
And that book…
Autobiography of a Yogi isn’t a story. It’s a seed.
Every time we read it, it says something new as if the pages know what chapter of life we’re in.
It will speak to you. It will show you what’s possible.
And when it does, you’ll know
You’ve started walking the real path.
You don’t have to be perfect.
You just have to be willing.
Sit down. Breathe. Remember.
You were never separate.
Just distracted.
