How to Upgrade a PS4 Controller Battery

If your PS4 controller doesn't charge or quickly drains, replace and upgrade the battery in about 10 minutes and for around $10. Gain even more playing time between charges by using a higher capacity battery in the process.

Note that there are 2 versions of the controller. The original version of the dual shock controller used a larger battery connector than the later version. Check the model of your controller and assure you are ordering a compatible battery. Some batteries come with dual connectors that will work with both versions of the controller.
