📣PRESS RELEASE
Jonathan Strickland survived a horrifically egregious show of violence by 5 Las Cruces Police Department on March 11, 2021. These officers, sworn to protect the peace and uphold the law, shot over 90 rounds at this man who was unarmed and really had committed no crime. His then wife, a woman with a history of making absurd false reports, told the police that Jonathan had assaulted her and that he planned to have a shootout with the cops. The cops didn’t take any time to investigate the wild accusation and instead acted on a hunch based on the accusations of his wife. There was no evidence that any of what his wife said was true. She later signed an affidavit recanting and admitting that she told untruths about her husband on March 11, 2021.
