Flying with NO instruments from BACK SEAT - Super Cub - Tail wheel training - ATC audio

Описание к видео Flying with NO instruments from BACK SEAT - Super Cub - Tail wheel training - ATC audio

Tail wheel instructors have to fly with almost no forward view - I wanted to try it :)
Proud to be associated with ForeFlight: http://www.foreflight.com/flightchops/

An other step toward flying WarBirds, I'm challenging myself trying to fly from the Back Seat in the Super Cub.
This is my 19th of 20 hours training to get the "sign off" to rent the plane and take passengers… I figured I'd make it interesting.
Huge thanks to Dennis for the awesome on going training, and for being willing to be in the videos, and help by consulting on the rough cuts!
Stay tuned to the end for a touching moment between Dennis and I.

FLIGHT CHOPS DISCLAIMER:
I am a "weekend warrior" private pilot, I fly for fun with no intentions of going commercial. I have had my PPL for over 15 years, but still consider each flight a learning experience - I generally take detailed notes after each flight to remind myself what went well or what I could do to improve.... Having the GoPro cameras to record flights like this is invaluable. I find these self analysis videos very helpful in my constant quest to improve, and am happy to share. Feedback is invited; however, please keep it positive.
