狐の動物園 宮城蔵王キツネ村/Miyagi Zao Fox Village, located in Shiroishi City, Miyagi Prefecture Japan, is a fox zoo where cute foxes such as red foxes, arctic foxes, foxes, horned foxes, platinum foxes, and cross foxes are bred.
Rather than a zoo of foxes, it may be correct to think that humans go into cages and follow the rules of where wild foxes live.

宮城県白石市にある宮城蔵王キツネ村は、キタキツネやホッキョクギツネ、ギンギツネ、ホンドキツネ、プラチナキツネ、十字キツネなどの可愛い狐が飼育されている狐の動物園です。
狐の動物園と言えば響きは良いのですが、人間が檻の中に入り野生の狐が生息する場所のルールに従うという捉え方が正しいのかもしれません。
少々難しく感じますが、入場時に狐の生態に詳しいキツネ村のスタッフが丁寧にルールを説明してくれますし、それに従っていれば大丈夫です。
竹田津実さんのノンフィクション「子ぎつねヘレンがのこしたもの」を原作とした2006年公開の日本映画「子ぎつねヘレン」に宮城蔵王キツネ村の狐が出演して脚光を浴びました。
この映画は視覚・聴覚・嗅覚を失った子ぎつねを保護して懸命に育てるという感動の物語です。

この動画は公開当時にYahoo Japanのトップページで紹介され、その後国内外で74000回以上再生、海外からも多くの反響がありました。
