Quintrex Top Ender 490 + Yamaha F90hp 4-Stroke fitted out beautifully yard review

This Quintrex Top Ender 490 is special. It's fitted out and refined to a perfection we've never seen. The owner is the skipper on mega yacht and has a very good understanding of what makes a good boat, infact it's his job to know what makes a good boat, and he has chosen the what we also believe to be one of the best boats available, the 490 Top Ender.

As Aaron mentioned, his boat is a similar Top Ender 481 which is one of our favourite boats.

This owner knows the value of the Quintrex Aluminium trailer with the Catch & Release bracket, which seems to be a standard option these days.

The paint is a beautiful grey, inside and outside, except for the side console, which is an unusual request from the customer but makes perfect sense as the console is inside the boat and would receive a lot of wear and tear. This owner certainly knows his stuff, very logical.

In a way we've never seen done before, SeaDek has been installed around the side decks of the entire boat. A SeaDek contractor came out, 3D scanned the boat and produced this beautiful SeaDek which is moulded perfectly to each fitting and extrusion in the side decks. Once again the owner of the boat surprised us with something we didn't know, and the result is gobsmacking. Apparently this custom 3D scanned SeaDeck technique only cost around $600...money well spent.

On the back is Yamaha F90hp 4-Stroke which is plenty to push along this boat. Also the owner has requested 2 fuel tanks in this boat for that extra range. Another addition to the motor is hydraulic steering, another meticulous detail which makes a lot of sense.

The wiring done by Brisbane Yamaha is perfect. Very smart and well executed, something this owner knew he would receive. It's the Brisbane Yamaha standard.

Electronics. There are 2 Lorance HDS9, which is a nice sounder, one on the console and one right up hte front, for seeing the fish. A VHF radio, and a MinnKota up the front, which would link in to the electronics for easy navigation.
