Battaramulla is a suburb of Colombo , located 8.4 km (5 mi) from the city center at Colombo Fort , close to the Parliament of Sri Lanka. It is one of the fastest growing administrative, commercial and residential areas in the Colombo region , and is home to the country's elite. Battaramulla is currently an important city in Sri Lanka. Lanka, due to the decision of the government of Sri Lanka to locate all the main offices of government departments in this city. However, if you want - it's not a problem to find very quiet streets and places here.
