Antipyretic - Final Fantasy Tactics (arr. Michael Hoffmann)

I was fortunate enough to meet Sakimoto this past weekend at a concert Benyamin Nuss was giving and pretty much fangirl DIED omg because he is seriously my FAVORITE FF composer of all time, if not my favorite vg composer of all time!!!! He kindly signed my PS1 Tactics game, my Vagrant Story OST, my FFXII OST, my FFXII Piano Collections book and my Valkyria Chronicles game despite being all OMG GET THIS CRAZY LADY AWAY FROM ME lol but ahh I was so happy and so inspired meeting him and hearing Nuss' incredible, amazing playing that I went home and HAD to push this one out. So this arrangement was on a FFT tribute album by the Materia Collective to which I contributed an arrangement of Data Screen, but when the album dropped there was this absolutely FANTASTIC arrangement of one of my favorite Tactics themes by Michael Hoffmann on it, and I was pretty much like, okay, there's no way i can do a better job arranging this, this is too freaking epic, so I transcribed it, tweaking some things to make it better suited to an acoustic piano, and started learning it. IT WAS PRETTY HARD I'M NOT GONNA LIE LOL but ahhh it's so satisfying to give this one the solo piano treatment, it's really one of my favorite Tactics themes because it has such a dynamic narrative, and Michael really brought that to the fore in this arrangement. I hope I did it justice. If you want the sheets, contact him, because I think he has plans to sell them through the label, it just wasn't fast enough for me because I have no chill lmao.
