Chasing Waterfalls @ Lata Medang | Cineprint 35

Fayyad and I are back at it again!

I can't emphasize enough how memorable this hike was.

The journey from Kg Org Asli Sungai Pertak to Lata Medang takes about 4-5 hours for a round trip, covering roughly 12-13km.

What made this adventure even more amazing was the presence of three of the friendliest jungle/village dogs we've ever encountered! They joined us from beginning to end, even guiding us to the somewhat hidden trail leading to the waterfalls. We affectionately named them Along, Angah, and Ucu—Malay terms for the firstborn, second born and youngest child, which totally fit their personalities, haha.

In addition to the charming company of our furry friends, the waterfalls at Lubuk Mecu and Lata Medang were absolutely stunning. The water was crystal clear and refreshingly cold, with lots of fish swimming around. This is definitely a hike we’d love to do again!
