What a Woman Needs From a Man to Feel Safe.
She needs a man who is effective. What does effective mean?
1. It means that you can handle shit. And…your willingness to handle the shit. Just because you can, doesn’t mean you do. For example, you can change a lightbulb, but you don’t. You can change a tire, but you don’t. You can protect her from thugs or people who talk shit about her, but you don’t. You could have a job, but you don’t. It’s the ‘you don’t’ part that makes you ineffective so you need to be effective.
Another thing that a woman is attracted to is
2. Strength. Strength doesn’t just mean in body, although if a woman sees you as seemingly healthy, her perception will automatically be that there is a lower risk of you dying on her and abandoning her. Remember, a woman’s primary need is to feel safe. If you leave her in the lurch, that is not going to make her feel safe. It also means strength in character. It means strength in social smarts, that you can handle yourself in a crowd. Communication. It’s strength in understanding your own feelings so you can express those with her. Anything that makes her feel safe physically or emotionally.
3. Women are programmed to notice weak areas more so than strong areas. If you are really, really great at playing the guitar, but you don’t have a job, she’s probably going to pay more attention to the ‘don’t have a job’. Another example: You do have a job. You make bank. But, maybe you’re really, really overweight and depressed. Well, she’s going to notice the overweight and depressed because that is an emotional risk for her.
