In a move that blended humor with controversy, YouTube star Logan Paul trolled the *BBC* by sending a lookalike to meet their team at his Puerto Rico gym after months of dodging their interview requests.
The BBC had been investigating allegations of Paul misleading fans through failed cryptocurrency projects like *Dink Doink* and **CryptoZoo**, which have been branded as scams. Despite declining prior interviews, Paul seemingly agreed to meet the BBC, only to unleash his viral doppelgänger, **Rodney Peterson**, as a prank.
On **November 20**, the BBC released a report highlighting their experience. They described the encounter, stating that shortly after leaving Paul’s gym, they received a legal warning against publishing their allegations.
“Rather than defend himself against the allegations we’ve been investigating, Logan Paul decided to troll us,” said journalist Matt Shea.
Peterson, Paul’s famous lookalike, first gained attention on TikTok for his uncanny resemblance to the influencer. Paul had previously embraced the resemblance, even delivering *Prime Hydration* products to Peterson in a playful meetup.

The project fell apart, with the token’s value crashing and the game never launching. After Coffeezilla’s deep dive into the failure, Paul announced a **$1.3 million compensation plan* for affected investors.
Paul also filed a defamation lawsuit against Coffeezilla, claiming the investigation caused "immense harm" to his reputation.
