Quorum requirements
Preliminary Decision and Developer Selection: The Special General Body Meeting (SGBM) convened for redevelopment, including the selection of a developer, requires a quorum of two-thirds of the total membership strength of the society.
Consequence of No Quorum: If the quorum is not met, the meeting will be adjourned for seven days. If the adjourned meeting also lacks a quorum, the meeting is cancelled, and the subject of redevelopment cannot be brought before the SGBM for approval for the next three months.
Important Note: It's essential to note that for the initial decision to pursue redevelopment, a majority vote of more than three-fourths of the members is required.
