Описание к видео The Stunning Hike to Indian Beach in Ecola State Park

Join us at Ecola State Park on the Oregon Coast for the stunning hike to Indian Beach. In today’s video, I’ll share the highlights of the hike to Indian Beach, and everything you need to know to visit this beautiful place yourself.

If you enjoy this video, remember to give it a thumbs-up, and subscribe to our channel for more adventures in the Pacific Northwest.

The trailhead for the hike to Indian Beach is in Cannon Beach, about an hour and a half by car from Portland.

This hike to Indian Beach has beautiful coastal views, including views of the infamous lighthouse, “Terrible Tilly.” Haystack Rock is in view from the trailhead. The Indian Beach trail passes through a coastal forest dominated by spruce trees (including some huge old-growth trees), with so many ferns it could be Jurassic Park.

The hike to Indian Beach from the recommended trailhead, Ecola Point, and back is 3.8 miles. Once you get to the beach, I’d highly recommend exploring the beach itself. That’ll add distance, making the total hike around 4 1/2 miles, depending on how much exploration you do. Here is the link to the trail entry on AllTrails so you can find the trail map and recent trip reports easily: https://www.alltrails.com/trail/us/or...

I’d recommend checking trip reports before you go, because this area is prone to landslides that sometimes close the trail.
