Blurb from DVD:
A Comedy About Second Chances
Golden Globe-winner Scott Bakula (Enterprise, Quantum Leap) gives a bravura comic performance as actor Bobby Cellini, a has-been actor presumed dead after a mysterious disappearance. Bobby gets a second chance to turn his career and his life around after he assumes a new identity and auditions for the role he was born to play - himself - in a made-for-TV movie based on Bobby's life.

Director & Writer: Antony Alda (Listed as Tony Alda)
Stars: Scott Bakula, Edie Dearing, Beverly Taylor, Kathryn Morris

This is a movie I watched with my Dad years ago, that I couldn't find any trace of to watch except to buy a used DVD from Amazon. So I am uploading it here because I want to share the joys of this silly movie starring Scott Bakula.

As with all Bakula performances, his on-screen charisma lifts the movie above what it might have been.

Dear copyright holders, please don't hurt me, I just wanted to preserve the legacy of this obscure film.

More about the film I've found out:
- Antony Alda passed away in 2009, RIP
- One of the cops in the first act is Matt McKenzie, best known as the voice of Auron in Final Fantasy X
- David Combs, the guy who plays the guy in the security booth in the scene at 29:17 totally steals the show for me and yet he never did anything else with his acting career. I salute you sir
- David Kaufman, the guy who plays Buck Steele's agent is best known as the voice actor for Danny Phantom
- Harry Groener, the guy who plays Bobby's agent is best known as "that guy from that show"... he's been in a lot of things including Buffy the Vampire Slayer as the evil mayor
