Landscape Painting with David Dunlop - From Realism to Abstraction

Описание к видео Landscape Painting with David Dunlop - From Realism to Abstraction

Join David Dunlop in this one-hour studio workshop and explore techniques to paint interweaving patterns of contrasting colors, textures, and forms as found in natural settings to create an exciting landscape. David uses photographs as his source material, and he sketches several compositions to explore different possibilities. He demonstrates how to render patterns of water in motion and reflection as found in rivers and marshlands. He explores how to create sparkle effects, luminosity, the sensation of wind and varieties of natural textures as we experience them. David reveals how nature’s organic rhythmic sequences can be arranged into unified compositions. This painting demonstration involves layering mixed media and offers an exciting guide to finding, designing, and painting exciting, luminous landscapes in a contemporary manner.
