It’s finally starting to take shape! Next up, we’ll be remoulding the corbels, fixing up the dentil moulding, and casting a running mould around the whole building. And if those words mean NOTHING to you then follow along because there’s a lot more cool words where those came from.

I know a lot of people wanted me to leave it as bare brick, but we were dealing with breeze block patch ups, damaged brickwork, bricks that had been scuffed up for plaster adherence, and all sorts of other issues. The only other alternative would have been to turn EVERY SINGLE brick round. And even then, that wouldn’t have fixed the breeze blocks. And it’d have bankrupted me.

After many long conversations with my building team, we decided that this was what was best for the house.

The house will eventually be black and white, with the red coat of arms matching the red front door, and I think it’ll look ace. What do you think?
