This video shows an initial setup method for the Continuum Weight Distribution Hitch.

Before trying the method outlined our video, consult your vehicle's owner's manual for instructions on properly installing and adjusting a weight distribution hitch. If your vehicle manufacturer does not make specific recommendations, refer to the setup steps outlined in your Continuum Weight Distribution Hitch Installation manual along with this video.

B&W suggests a Front Axle Load Restoration (FALR) of 50% to 100%.

Please note that each towing configuration will necessitate a different amount of pressure. Repeat any initial setup procedures and record the new load pressure on the gauge if your trailer load, tow vehicle, or trailer change to help ensure proper weight distribution every time you tow.

Otherwise, once the proper load restoration has been achieved, simply note the pressure reading on the Continuum's pump assembly for future trips with that tow vehicle, trailer, and trailer load combination.

The amount of pressure used is typically 1.2x the trailer's tongue weight, with a FALR ranging from 60% to 90%.
