my first beat on the mpc 2000 classic

this video was recorded on 7/11/2024. it's my fourth session with the mpc 2000 classic. the first session is uploaded to my channel. unfortunately, the second session was lost along with a few other videos due to an external hard drive error. the third session is an hour and a half long and probably too boring for anyone's taste.

in this session, i finally come up with a couple short sequences. i have figured out how to stop long samples from playing all the way through (shift + trim). i believe i have now figured out how to save to a floppy (even though in this video i don't do it correctly). i'm starting to build a technique for chopping samples more efficiently. i know the hats are loud on this one
