This is a quick look at The Long Dark Forlorn Muskeg, exploring a chunk of this wild, open area based around an ice lake with loads of very thin ice to trap the unwary!

The Long Dark Forlorn Muskeg contains loads of dangerous wildlife, a railway track running down the centre of the map, some crashed railway carts, a waterfall, shortwave radio towers, Hat Creek and more. We explore these and discuss a more elusive prize: a new forge!

We also discuss some of the other additions in The Long Dark Resolute Outfitter update: We see how the new clothing system works as we find lots of new clothes to wear, we discuss stamina changes and mobility, we see how clothes can become wet, frozen and heavy, and more in this The Long Dark Forlorn Muskeg video.
