Brahmagiri Trek 2024 Trimbakeshwar (12kms) ⛰️ Story Behind Explained !

Visiting Trimbakeshwar was just a part of my Harihar Fort Trekking trip. Well, Brahmagiri wasn’t. After a lot of thinking process I went through by myself I decided that I am going to complete the two trekking on the same day. Brahmagiri hills was meant to be easier and less prettier compared to Harihar Fort. Well, I was wrong !

12kms of trekking, temples on the top, the view points, every single object on the way to the top was mesmerizing. Felt more like Lord Shiva called me to see all of this with my eyes. Because I wasn’t that excited while watching the hill view through google images and instagram posts people have uploaded. In my opinion, the climb, the visuals all are something you have to experience with your physical presence out there. And I was lucky enough to find & enjoy the beauty and peacefulness in the best months of monsoon itself.

My advice to the people who’re about to visit Harihar Fort is that “Do Not Miss This Place !” if you’ve got time. I had only one day for myself and that’s why I took the challenge to do both trekking on the same day. And Brahmagiri Hills must be visited in the early morning. You must be there on the hill to witness the stunning sunrise. Also you don’t need a ticket to trek during that time.

Just be plastic-friendly and animal-friendly while visiting this place. Can’t bear the news of exploitation of the biodiversity secured here at this underrated place. Also don’t be that tourist-kind who’s there only to click pictures ! Be respectful and kind enough to understand the history, beliefs and historic-significance and blend into the place & nature as if you’re a local from Trimbakeshwar itself 😊😍

It is only a few kms walk from where ever you’re about to stay nearby Trimbakeshwar temple. The temple visit is must ! It is one of the 12 jyotirlingas !
