A bit of a different video from me than normal.. a weekend of rail action rolled into one. The chance to ride behind double Class 40's to Edinburgh was a occourence far and few between, with my first 40 haulage on the mainline. I captured the locos at every opportunity possible at each location stop. A unforgettable day was captured on the trip between Crewe and Edinburgh and return. Having a stop over in Crewe meant that I could also get down and see a few different freights, with 3 trains captured on Friday evening. After a few beers on and a long day Saturday another nights rest in Crewe was needed before an early start to see doubled headed 47s on private tour ECS, a freight and light engine move on the outskirts of Crewe before heading to Chirk to see Class 56's on RHTT and 70810 leaving Kronsopan on the empty logs to Carlisle... still being early on in the morning.. I carried onto the Llangollen railway and took a ride the length of the line behind 3802 before heading back towards home capturing a private railtour at Shrewsbury. Finally to wrap the day up 67023 and 027 on RHTT are seen on the outskirts of Shrewsbury before finally seeing them speed through Ludlow to wrap up a great weekend.
