Beauty of Chilika Lake, the largest coastal lagoon in India.

I take an auto-rickshaw and then a bus to reach Satpada.
In Satpada, I book a boat ride to the dolphin point in Chilika Lake. Negotiated the fare for the boat ride, enjoyed the breathtaking view of the sunset, the boat ride, and the rare sighting of Irrawaddy dolphins swimming in their natural habitat made it all worth it. We also saw the Siberian birds that migrate to Chilika lake during the winter season.

Chilika Lake is the largest brackish water lagoon, the largest wintering ground for migratory birds on the Indian subcontinent, and home to the endangered Irrawaddy dolphins.

Chilika Lake is the largest internal saltwater lake in Asia, it is a paradise on earth for bird watchers and nature lovers.
