This was filmed in 2000 by my father while we were on a Grand Tour of the American Western Desert States. This was a highlight and was such a scary prospect that we decided not to tell my Mum about it beforehand so that she wouldn't worry about it for days. She kept her eyes shut all the way down.
In those days, my wife Sarah and I, with our very young daughter Lydia would go on our big holidays with my Mum and Dad.
