Canyoning in Germany - Seinsbachklamm, Mittenwald, Garmisch-Partenkirchen

Описание к видео Canyoning in Germany - Seinsbachklamm, Mittenwald, Garmisch-Partenkirchen

A short but wonderful canyon that always carries a lot of water. The water level can be checked multiple times on the way up, and most of the rappels are just outside of the water. It is easy to reach in a pretty touristy section. There is an "upper part" that consists of just one waterfall, where people complain about having rope-retrieval issues. After you think you've exited the canyon, a small conglomerate canyon will follow if you continue along the river.

Parking: 47°28'27.7"N 11°16'45.9"E
Ascent: The ascent can be made on either the north or the south side of the river, both taking equally long. On the north side you simply follow the gravel road up alongside the stream until you reach the bridge over the Seinsbach (47°28'17.7"N 11°17'28.7"E). For the south side ascent (in the video) walk back towards the B2 and turn left onto the road that immediately crosses the Seinsbach. From here walk along the road until you reach the first U-turn, at which point you find a path on the left which leads up. Follow this path until you reach a larger path which takes you to the bridge. (20-30 min)

Descent: A few abseils, some small slides, and beautiful walking and downclimbing sections. Highest rappel 15 m. (1 - 2 hours).

The way back: find a way up on the left or right side of the river and make your way back to the parking area. (3 min)
