With Government capacity and resources diminishing every year, it is essential for private sector and NGO’s to step up and provide support to state owned/managed nature reserves. in this talk, Dereck Milburn from WeWild Africa identifies some of the key areas were NGO’s need to get involved urgently, and provide examples of what we have achieved in the space in the last 5 years.

Many of the larger NGO’s are providing support to governments all over Africa and we need to ensure that this support reaches our conservation areas in South Africa.
