Stoke City Community Trust Big Sleep Out 2019

Annual event deemed huge success once again...

FUNDRAISERS braved the freezing temperatures at the bet365 Stadium on a Friday evening as part of the Potters’ annual Big Sleep Out event.

A record-breaking 200 people from Stoke-on-Trent and the surrounding areas took part to help raise awareness and funds for homeless people in the city.

Participants bedded down both inside and outside the Franklyn Stand at the stadium where temperatures plummeted to around -6 degrees on the night.

Fundraisers were provided with a cardboard mat to sleep on, as well as receiving hot soup, beverages and refreshments throughout the night and a hot oatcake in the morning.

All money raised from the evening will be donated to the Macari Foundation, Manna House, Temple Street charities as well as the Club's Community Trust.
