Today's video is going to be something different. Normally I shoot videos at home, but this time it will be a kind of an ambient outdoor movie.

The background is: I've been looking for a proper solution to power my pedals off the grid for a very long time… It was a dream to go to sea or to a forest and play there soundscapes.

Finally I came pretty close to more or less suitable solution. It is a guitar power bank.

It is small, it is light, it has 9 volts DC and capable of powering three or even four digital pedals.

The one I got is maybe not the best - it has some noise issues, but still good to go. I can play two or three hours or even more, depending on how greedy the pedal are.

The other day I took my guitar, several pedals and we drove to one of our beloved places in the forest.

We spent two nights there: slept in tents, burnt fire in the night, struggled with mosquitoes… Did all those lovely things people do when hiking.
It was just amazing to sit in the nature with my headphones on and play guitar for hours.

When I came home and started to see what we've shot and recorded I realized I didn't want to upload several different videos from the same location and thought it would be better to make one big video with the vibe we had there.

The gear used:
Godin Solidac guitar with Fernandes Sustainer
Strymon Iridium
Chase Bliss Audio Mood MK2
Strymon Timeline
Joyo JP-05
