Daniel Smith Essential Watercolor Chart & Color Wheel For Beginners - Split Primary Colors.

In this video I paint a color wheel and a color chart with the Daniel Smith Essential Introductory Watercolor Set consisting of a warm and a cool of the 3 primary colors red, blue & yellow.
This video is an excellent introduction to color mixing for beginners and explains how to create brilliant secondary colors in detail using simple, easy to follow steps.

Remember, even if a color is listed or considered "Cool" or "Warm" it really depends on what you are comparing it to!
So a so-called "warm" blue can be "cool" if you are comparing it to a warm color, such as red - even if it's compared to a "cool" red - the blue would still be considered "cooler".
We all see colors differently, so please explore colors on your own terms and feel free to explore and make your own relationship with colors!

French Ultramarine Blue, Phthalo Blue (GS), Pyrrol Scarlet, Quinacridone Rose, Hansa Yellow Light, New Gamboge.
