This version of the Chaplet of Divine Mercy in Song, filmed in 2002, was the first of three Chaplets filmed and recorded live at the National Shrine of the Divine Mercy in Stockbridge, Massachusetts - home of the Marian Fathers of the Immaculate Conception. The other two were recorded in 2007 and 2019. All three versions have been featured on EWTN daily since 2002.

This version crosses the gap between contemporary and traditional prayer music with Catholic songwriter Trish Short's version of the "Chaplet of The Divine Mercy in Song". The opening prayers are led by Fr. Seraphim Michalenko, MIC, and the Chaplet is led by Fr. Joseph Roesch, MIC.
