Join us in Angus, looking out across the North Sea in a place once called, Stinking Haven! The natural harbour here is a rock-hounding dream - so many beautiful pebbles, glistening in the sunlight, warming the golden sands of this gorgeous bay.

We decide to head off North to see what we can find. Up this far, tucked away from nearby settlements, we find our only companion to be an inquisitive seal, maybe its a selkie, who pops up to see what we are up to before swimming off out of sight.

Among our first finds are some hag stones; wishing stones and really lovely sea glass - we have not given any thought to hag stones before, so we decide to see how many we can find and what we can find out about them!

With fishing boats passing this shore every day, its no surprise to find fishing line - but there is a tiny wee gem inside the tangle - a bright blue glass bead is a real treasure here! All in, its a great day - lovely weather, a peaceful place to be in, and lots of wee treasures to take home and make things with!

We look at what can be said about hag stones - there is so much, we really only touch the surface of the subject - they are so cool! Pliny the elder provides our earliest source of these wee curiosities, but there is a wealth of folkloric knowledge spread across Europe and the Celtic world!

Today is the first of our new format videos - so be sure to check out the second part on Sunday! This week in Sunday's video: we round up our finds, Nicole makes some bespoke jewellery and we take a moment to look at this area without any accompanying music... For everyone who enjoys the music, we will continue to bring you plenty of that in our Friday videos!

Lets us know what you think of these changes in the comments please!! We made the changes in response to your questions, requests and by looking at how our videos are viewed. We hope you like the changes - we will continue to adjust Sunday's videos over the next week or two, until we think everything is where it should be.

We hope you enjoyed today's video... Thank you so much for watching!
