Leo 来到台东的第三天结识这位自驾环岛的忠哥，忠哥性格开朗大方，决定开车带Leo开启一天的台东山海线之旅。早上8点出发，从海线台11公路，探索海岸奇岩地貌 - 小野柳地质保护区。再往北开便是成功乡，三仙台以它八拱跨海步道直达三仙小岛闻名，从岛上回望台湾的东海岸线甚是宏大壮丽。午饭在成功面店吃一碗麻酱肉燥面，喝一杯豆花，继续下午的行程。一早就听说台东野溪温泉遍地都是，翻过海岸山脉，来到安通野溪温泉，忠哥和Leo在温泉边足足泡了有2-3个小时，睡睡觉，泡泡温泉很是闲适。台9公路是台东山线，位于海岸山脉和中央山脉，中间孕育着一条狭长而又肥沃的地区，其中包括池上，玉里，鹿野等乡镇。池上又尤其以其优质的稻米出名，遂有驰名台湾的池上便当。晚餐便是池上便当和池上独有的大米冰淇淋。天色已暗，借着夕阳余晖，广阔绿油油的稻田美似一幅画，开在台9路上，听着台语歌，不知不觉，天已经完全黑了。忠哥和Leo临分别前，忠哥送给Leo山边妈祖的纪念品，一条沾过圣水的手帕。这就是旅行的魅力，人在旅途，认识又分开，留下的是永远快乐的回忆。祝忠哥50岁快乐！永远喜乐！

On the third day in Taitung, Leo met Zhong, a cheerful and generous man on a self-driving island tour. Zhong decided to take Leo on a day trip along the Taitung Coastal Route. They set off at 8 AM, starting from the coastal Highway 9, exploring the unique rock formations at Xiaoyeliu Geopark. Heading north, they arrived at Chenggong Township, where the Eight-Arch Bridge led them to Sanxiantai Island. The view of Taiwan's eastern coastline from the island was grand and magnificent.

For lunch, they enjoyed a bowl of sesame sauce minced pork noodles and a cup of tofu pudding at a local noodle shop in Chenggong. Continuing their journey in the afternoon, they heard that Taitung is famous for its wild hot springs. Crossing the Coastal Mountain Range, they reached Antong Wild Hot Spring, where Zhong and Leo soaked for 2-3 hours, napping and relaxing by the hot spring in a leisurely manner.

Highway 11 is Taitung's mountain route, nestled between the Coastal Mountain Range and the Central Mountain Range. This fertile strip of land includes towns such as Chishang, Yuli, and Luye. Chishang is particularly renowned for its high-quality rice, giving rise to the famous Chishang Lunchbox. For dinner, they enjoyed a Chishang Lunchbox and Chishang's unique rice ice cream. As night fell, under the glow of the setting sun, the vast green rice fields looked like a painting. Driving along Highway 9, listening to Taiwanese songs, they didn't realize it was completely dark.

Before parting, Zhong gave Leo a souvenir from the Mazu Temple by the mountain – a handkerchief blessed with holy water. This is the charm of travel: meeting and parting, leaving behind everlasting happy memories. Happy 50th birthday to Zhong! May you always be joyful!
