21. How to Load Magisk on Boot with the Samsung Galaxy S10 [12:35]

Samsung has begun to roll out the Android 11 OTA update for the Samsung Galaxy S10, Galaxy S10+, Galaxy S10e, and Galaxy S10 Lite again. I say again because they previously halted the big update last month.

Now that the new update is landing on consumer devices, I have been able to sit down with my S10+ and work on the new procedure on how to gain root access to the smartphone.

The good news is that most of the process is exactly the same. The only thing you need to keep an eye out for is the new method of loading Magisk when you boot the Samsung Galaxy S10.

We all know the 3-button combination to load Magisk on the Galaxy S10. But Samsung has added another requirement here. Now, this could change in a future update (just like this update added the change out of nowhere).

But as of now, we also need to have something plugged into the USB port when we hold those three buttons down (Power, Bixby, and Volume Up) during the boot cycle.

That's it.

The first half of the video is the same as the last root tutorial I did for the Galaxy S10e series. The only difference is highlighted in the second half of the video.
